Tropen der Globalisierung

Die Repräsentation oder (diskursive) ‚Konstruktion‘ von Globalisierung - sei es in der Literatur, sei es in nichtliterarischen Texten - erfolgt zwangsläufig anhand von sprachlichen Wendungen, Tropen. In den literatur- und kulturwissenschaftlichen Auseinandersetzungen mit Globalisierung wird dabei meist die Metapher privilegiert: selbst tropologische Beziehungen, die nicht auf Ähnlichkeit basieren, werden als metaphorisch bezeichnet. In der Jahreskonferenz des DFG-Graduiertenkollegs soll hingegen ein differenzierteres Instrumentarium zur Analyse der Repräsentationsformen einer erdumspannenden Welt entwickelt werden.
